The project consists of removing select beams from the Plainfield No. 16 Bridge and replacing these beams.  The project also includes HMA removal, construction of a new bridge railing, approach work with HMA paving.  The project will be constructed under a complete closure of Rogue River Drive with a detour posted. 

Important dates:

Friday August 30 – Scheduled Open To Traffic – The south quadrants will have temporary barriers in place to allow future gas work.

Projected for September 10 or 15 – DTE arrives back and bridge will be one lane of traffic and controlled with a temporary traffic signal.  DTE will have 1 to 2 weeks of gas main work.

Projected for September 25 to 30 – Our bridge contractor will come back and finish the guardrail.  DTE will then pull the temporary traffic signals and the project will be completely open.
