Work has commenced at the intersection of 10 Mile Road and Main Street to upgrade with a new traffic signal and complete curb/sidewalk improvements. 10 Mile Road will also be milled (partial depth) and paved back with fiber-reinforced HMA. Eastbound traffic will be maintained during the paving project while detouring westbound traffic. Part of this project includes sanitary sewer work on Fremont Street and water service replacement in conjunction with the City of Rockford. The sanitary sewer work includes a total closure of 10 Mile in both directions for approximately 1 week. During this time traffic will be detoured at Wolven Ave.

06/23/2025 - Resurfacing work begins (Michigan Paving and Materials)
Eastbound traffic will be maintained while detouring Westbound traffic. The sanitary sewer work includes a total closure of 10 Mile Road in both directions for approximately 1 week. During this time traffic will be detoured at Wolven Avenue. The road will then be resurfaced: partial depth cold mill on the existing three-lane asphalt surface, followed by a top course of HMA.
