The project includes cold milling the existing roadway, followed by placement of two courses of hot mix asphalt (HMA) followed by permanent pavement markings.

Each segment will be closed to through traffic but will remain open to all businesses and residents within the project limits.

A signed detour will be in place when the project begins.

Only one segment will be closed during construction until the next is open as follows:

Thornhills Ave — Thornapple River Drive to 28th Street
Thornapple River Dr — 36th Street to Thornapple River Dr East
