Phase I – Kent County Road Commission (KCRC)
- Phase I work will be completed by KCRC and includes:

• - Encasement of the existing steel abutments with reinforced concrete
• - Removal of the existing hot-mix asphalt (HMA) from the bridge deck
• - Patching of the concrete bridge deck
• - Removal and replacement of guardrail at the project location

The estimated duration: 35 days

Phase II – Miller Bridge
- Phase II work will be completed by Miller Bridge and includes:

• - Cleaning and coating (painting) of the steel beams and abutment faces
• - Installation of shear stud devices on the beams to eliminate the current load restrictions on the bridge

The estimated duration for Phase II is 35 days.
